“What is taking them so long? At least let me go and see Arius whilst we are waiting?” Maddy pleaded whilst the group of us sat around the top floor living room. Logan and Fredrik were terrorising the vampire for information, and I had to admit it did seem to be taking longer than normal.
“Arius is back in his cell and Logan has given strict instructions that no one is to see him until we know more about the attack,” Alina said calmly but Maddy rolled her eyes. “It’s for everyone safety.”
“Why don’t you people get it?! He will not harm me!” Maddy shouted and walked over to the large floor to ceiling window that looked out over the forest. “You cannot keep me from my own mate.”
