I’m sat on the cushioned window seat in Madeline’s room, twiddling my fingers as we all take it in turns to go from staring at her sleeping form to pacing the room or bickering. It was starting to feel claustrophobic in here as everyone wanted to be the one to be by her side when she finally woke. I still can’t believe they shot her with a bear tranquiliser!
