Darius POV
“STOP! LOGAN STOP!”
I hear a hysterical voice as I regain consciousness. One of our warriors helps me off the floor and I steady myself against the tree that I was just sent flying into. My head is throbbing, and my chest feels tight but I ignore it as I take in the scene before me.
Logan, Fredrik and Marcus are beating the crap out of a cuffed Arius who is led on the floor taking every kick and punch to his body. They all freeze and look to the right where the scream came from. Madeline is stood rooted to the spot with dread and fear etched in her features. And Emma is stood beside her with the same expression. Emma? What the hell was she doing here?
