“What do you think about the name Blade for a boy?” Arius is led between my legs with his head hovering above my bump, circling his fingers over my stomach. The baby kicks and wriggles under his touch.
I lean my head to one side. “You are joking right?”
He grins, showcasing his perfectly white teeth. “Ok, what about Maximus? It means the greatest!” I scrunch my nose up and shake my head. He sighs, “What do you like then?”
“Hmmm, I like Sorrel,” I say sweetly.
“Like the herb? No way,” he scoffs. “My son needs a strong, masculine name. He is going to be the first of his kind and his name will live on through the ages. What about Raiden?” The excitement on Arius face is infectious and I can’t help but giggle.
“Mmm, I don’t hate it. But what if it’s a girl?” I question.
