I was angry with Nathan, blaming him for Summer’s death, and I wasn’t wrong. It would be a miracle if she survived after being marked and mated with his wolf. Rejection is hardly tolerated in our pack, and Nathan rejected her intentionally after Storm marked and mated with her.
This wasn’t something that I couldn’t forgive, and I admitted that my anger towards him strained our relationship. I didn’t need to search for her secretly because I saw how desperate Nathan had been all these years searching for her like a mad man.
