A couple of hours later, Alexander and I were at the restaurant that he chose. We had gotten more good news that Victoria was also arrested, now I didn't have to worry about her. Those two could rot for all I care. I didn't want to focus on them anymore, when I had a gorgeous man watching me like I meant the world to him.
We decided to just spend tonight without thinking about work or anything else. Alexander held the door open for me as we walked inside. The restaurant was quiet, warm, and simple. The kind of place where you could sit and talk without anyone bothering you.
