Work felt dull without Alexander around. No matter what I did, my mind kept drifting back to last night and how badly I wanted to be with him again. Patricia and Karen were on the line with me, keeping me updated on the latest client report.
But even with that I couldn't stop thinking about what Alexander and I did last night. He made me feel alive. My mind floated as he took me over and over, each moment with him leaving me wanting more. The way he touched me, the way he looked at me, it was impossible to stop thinking about.
Even when Karen was calling my name, my thoughts lagged behind. I blinked, trying to pull myself back, hoping they hadn't noticed how distracted I was.
"Miss Lawson, I sent you a video. Please check it out," Patricia said.
