My body is a whirlwind of emotions. I'm staring at Jesse open mouthed and i can't wrap my head around anything.
"Say something." He begs with a desperate expression and i find myself releasing the long breath i hadn't realized I had been holding.
"I don't know what to say."
"Is it a yes or a no? Just so you know, I'm not taking no for an answer."
My fingers move to cup his cheek. I let them move over the relatively rough surface, stroking, discovering.
"I love you Jesse. I really do. But, are you sure that you want to do this? To commit yourself to me?"
"I wouldn't have asked if i wasn't sure."
I take in a deep breath.
