It's ironic that I find myself back at the same marina that Veronica and I used to go to back in high school. Most of the time, we would just drive my dad's boat out into the bay and get drunk, but sometimes we would do something more romantic like sit on the pier and watch the sunset. She was the first girl that I had an actual relationship with... and the last. We went our separate ways and I got into the gang life while Veronica took the straight and narrow path to college.
