‘I can’t believe you like that tool,’ Ares hissed in my mind as Sienna led me out of the restaurant and down the New York sidewalk. ‘I have never been more disappointed in you for not killing someone.’
I ignored him and threw my arm around Sienna, nuzzling my face into her neck, causing her to giggle from the ticklish tingles. I was feeling too f*cking happy right now to even entertain my demon’s annoyance.
‘And drunk,’ Sirius added when he heard my thoughts. Yep, and a little drunk. Lovely.
