I left Dale to shower as I headed downstairs to make him breakfast. I know he didn’t need to be at the office until 11, leaving him just over an hour to have food and see Abi before he has to drive the two hours to his new office.
I made his favourite croissants and left them to cook before I ran back upstairs to get Abi up. I know she was tired after her weekend but today was important. I can cope with her out of her routine for one day.
Surprisingly she wasn’t grumpy because I woke her. It is almost like she knows something is going on and she doesn't want to miss it. She happily sat and let me change her nappy and brush her hair, I didn’t bother changing her as I was planning on having a lazy day, so her staying in her pj’s was fine.
