I was in a mad panic today. I have no idea why I suggested last minute to have everyone over to ours for a family gathering. One, I had no time to prepare and two I realised I would have to go food shopping and one thing I hate about food shopping is food shopping on a Saturday morning. The shops were absolutely mobbed.
I had to park the car, like half a mile away from the door, luckily I didn’t bring Abi with me or she would have been so bored. With list in hand I grabbed a trolley and took a few deep breaths and got to it.
Nearly two hours later I was eventually heading back home, car packed with all the food and drinks I had on my list, so that in itself was a bonus. Most Saturdays that I have been shopping, the shelves have been empty for the specific thing I have needed.
