Ep. 6- My Little Sister

1099 Words
Axel's POV Damn, the bloodsucking reporters are here again. I hug Louise tighter, and Lea covers her face. My lawyer covers the back. My bodyguards surround us. I don't want them to touch Louise or me at all.  Louise seems scared as she clings on to me. This will be bad if this goes out and her parents find out. I know of the disagreements she has with them. They're against her traveling the world. Her mother wants her to pursue finishing school, and her father wants her to work at their company.  But Louise is a free spirit. Always been and will always be. She can't stay in one place. She's still going to travel around the world and do what she likes. No one can restrain her in one place. No one can clip her wings.  I walk faster towards my car. The reporters swarm before us.  "Mr. Hunter, why are you here?" Questions after questions are thrown my way.  "Mr. Hunter, who is this woman you're carrying? Is this your fiancee, Louise Archer?"  "Mr. Hunter, is it true that your fiancee Louise Archer is in jail because of beating up a senator's son?" I frown, I f*****g hate reporters. My guards are frantically pushing them away, but they're like bees.  "Move! Move! Out of the way!" One of the reporters falls because he was pushed to the front. I walk faster; things are worsening. I can't afford to stay here any longer.  "Push them," I whisper to my lawyer.  "Push them away!" My lawyer shouts, ordering my guys.  "We have freedom of speech!" The reporters shouted. I grit my teeth! Damn it! "This is an invasion of privacy," Lea gets into a quarrel. "Mr. Hunter isn't a public figure; he's a private person." "We need to know," the reporters shouted together. "Is this his fiancee? But why is he carrying his fiancee now, when he was caught dating Supermodel Miranda Gale earlier?"  Louise stiffens in my arms. This reporters really don't know when to stop! I walk close to the reporter who spoke and checks out his i.d.  "Buzz Daily? Wait for your court summons tomorrow and prepare the p*****t for damages," I announce. "Anyone who wants to suffer with Buzz Daily can raise questions now! I can answer them with the expense that you're going to close down your companies!"  Everyone is silent. The treat of closing down is as effective as ever. And they know I can do it, I've done this so many times before. One headline that isn't approved by me... well, the company is going to pay.  All the news about me were all approved by my PR team.  "Let's go," Louise whispers in my ears. I walk in my car and place her down beside me. Lea wants to walk in to, but I gesture for her to sit on the other vehicle. I look at Lea, for a friend, she's okay.  Louise stares at me.  "Hi," she greets me. "Thank you, Axel."  I sigh. Damn, does she think sorry can get rid of everything? If sorry can get rid of every mistake then there's no point for the police and prisons.  "I cause trouble again, but this time, it's for self-defense!"  Louise tries to explain it to me. I haven't heard what happened in the club because as soon as I hear she's in jail, I lost all common sense.  Well, only enough to bring my lawyer with me.  Louise... she's a special case in my heart. She's like the little sister I never had. I'm an only child, so I treat her as my sister. Even if we always fight, and say that I hate her, but there's a part of me that likes her as my sister.  Weren't little sisters like this? As her big brother, I have to take care of her. And also, I'm very close friends with her brothers.  Even if she doesn't explain what happened, I know that Louise isn't someone who'll intentionally hurt anyone.  (#authors note: I hope he remembers this when the time comes.)  "What happened?" I ask her. I need to know so that I'll know how to protect her. The best thing I can do right now is to talk to the father of the complainant and settle things without dragging Louise through the mud.  This scandal isn't good for her or anyone. This is going to blow up and will cause so many f*****g problems that I don't want to think about.  "I beat him up because the bastard touched my shoulder! I refused to dance with him, and he grabbed me, so I throw him over my shoulder," Louise explains to me.  My mouth opens when I hear her explanation. She threw a man over her shoulder? f**k, that was amazing, and it's good that she can protect herself! But I can't possibly say this to her face.  I compose myself.  "You should haven't done that?" I grimace. I don't know what am I supposed to say to her to make it sound like I'm reprimanding her. As for my personal opinion. Well, serves the bastard right but I can't say these words to her.  Louise looks hurt. "So, you expect me to let him touch me? Is that the right thing I should do?"  "I'm not telling you to let him touch you. I'm just saying that you rebuked him lesser. Not get physical directly," I say to her. It's difficult to explain to her about this since she always has to fight with me every time.  "You know what, I thank you that you bailed me out, but I'm not regretting what I did," Louise tells me. "You see, that man deserves it and more. I don't know how many women he has hurt before."  "Louise, I don't mean to say anything about it," I grimace. "So, where do I drop you?"  "Drop me home," Louise says grumpily. "Don't say anything. Hmph."  "Where's your home?" I ask her. I try to stay calm as I talk to her. She's going to kill me because of high blood pressure. She's childish to the point that it puts her in danger.  "Uh...my home... just drive me around first?" Louise asks me with a forced smile.  "What do you mean? Are you telling me you don't have a house?"  "Of course not! Just drive me there!" Lola grabs my shoulder. I'm shocked because of her proximity that I nod my head.  "Let's go. Tell me if you remember your house address." Damn, how can someone forget their house?!
