Chapter Nine - Reunion (Part One)

❤Emily “What do you mean?” she asked as she gripped onto the phone. Trevor looked up as he could hear the panic in her voice. “I don’t know what you want me to say, Emily, they haven’t arrived,” Carl repeated, and Emily fell back onto the sofa next to Trevor. “Well, where are they then?” she asked him as she waved off Trevor’s worried affections. “Have you tried calling them?” “Of course, I have, both of their phones are off,” he informed her, and she felt the level of panic start to rise. “I’m going to head your way and see if I can see them anywhere,” “Ok, we’ll do the same,” Emily said, somewhat relieved to have a plan in action. She stood up and reached out for Trevor’s hand. “Keep in touch,” Carl said before he hung up. “Where are they?” Trevor hurriedly asked. “I don’t know, I’m going to take the truck,” she said, and he nodded, she suddenly stopped him as she could see that he planned on coming with her. “No, you stay here, watch the kids,” she said before she hurried out. Where on earth were Colin and Tina? Emily hurried out to the truck and got in. “I’m coming,” she whispered as she started the vehicle. She had a bad feeling about this. ❤Felicity “Excuse me?” Felicity turned around to face the two females sitting on the sofa in Warren’s office. “You heard me,” Willow spat out and Felicity had to take a step back. If she didn’t, she was going to slap her daughter. “Have some respect for your mother,” Warren suddenly said as he stood up and joined his mate. “Now, this time, you’ll very politely explain what is going on to your mother,” “Fine, War wanted to take to the road, make a name for himself in the music industry. We helped him sneak out,” Willow said calmly. Felicity was silently freaking out. Not because her son had decided to run away and become a musician, no, she was freaking out because he wasn’t answering his phone. Not only that, but the car Ariel had arranged for him to steal, had been found by the owner of a diner about four hours away. “So, you don’t know where he is?” Felicity asked her. “Honestly, no, I don’t,” Willow whispered. The seriousness of the situation had finally hit her, and Felicity reached out for her eldest. Willow hurried to stand up and embrace her mother as the tears started to fall. “Where is he?” she wailed out. Felicity glanced over at her mate, who was just as upset and Felicity nodded. Something had to be done and fast. The longer it took them, the further away Warrity could get. Felicity didn't want to think about what her son could possibly be going through.  ❤Sasha “Daniel!” Sasha screamed out for her son again. Where the hell was that boy? She wondered as she went up to his room. Pushing open the door, she peered inside. Daniel wasn’t in bed like she thought he was. In fact, his bed was still perfect, which meant he didn’t sleep in it last night. Sasha wasn’t too worried as she knew that he had probably fallen asleep somewhere else. “Oh! George!” she called out to him as she closed Daniel’s bedroom door. “Hey, mom,” “Have you seen Daniel anywhere?” she asked. “Nope, isn’t he in his room?” “No, oh well, breakfast will be ready in ten minutes,” she informed him as she hurried back downstairs. It wasn’t like Daniel to be gone for so long. Sasha went looking for him. He wasn’t anywhere in the packhouse and she recruited Lilly to help her search the pack’s village. When she still couldn’t find him, that’s when she started to really worry. “What’s wrong?” Ayden immediately asked when she went into his office. “Daniel is missing,” “What?” he stood up and rushed over to her side. “I went up to his room, but he wasn’t there,” Sasha explained as she started tearing up. “I asked Lilly to help me search the village, but he isn’t there either,” “Ok, calm down, he is probably in the woods somewhere,” Ayden said as he took his mate into his arms. “Find him,” she whispered as she looked up at his guilty face. She hated to think it but now that Daniel was missing, she hoped Ayden would see the error of his ways. It was a simple case of you don't know what you've got until it's gone. ❤Stephan “Hey honey, have you seen Liam this morning?” Jewel asked as she stuck her head in the office. Stephan was up early as he had planned to do some training with Liam, and he wanted to get the paperwork out of the way first. “Isn’t he up yet?” Stephan asked as he looked through the recipes. “No, and he isn’t in his room,” Jewel said as she went into the room. Stephan placed the pack of recipes down and stared at his mate. “What do you mean he isn’t in his room?” “Morning, Alpha, Luna,” Cliff said as he too entered the office. “Sorry to bother you but do you know anything about the gym? “What about the gym?” Stephan asked as he stood up. “Liam and I were at the gym last night,” “Yeah, it wasn’t locked up,” he informed him. “Ok, excuse me, I have eggs on the stove,” Jewel hurried out of the office as Cliff and Stephan stared at each other. “Get a team together and find Liam,” Stephan said. For some reason, he knew that something was wrong. When Cliff nodded and hurried out of the room, Stephan took out his phone. It had been a long time since he had spoken to his siblings, but he needed their help. “Stephan! Now really isn’t the time,” Felicity’s loud voice boomed through. “I agree,” Sasha added. “Colin and Tina are missing!” Emily shouted out. The line went silent and Stephan frowned. “What?” he asked. “Colin and Tina left to visit Carl, but they never showed up and Carl found their car at a petrol station about an hour away from him,” Emily explained. It was clear that his eldest sister was upset. “Warrity is missing too; he ran away to pursue his music career, but his car was found abandoned by a diner,” Felicity informed us, and Stephan knew this was a lot more serious. “Daniel is also missing!” Sasha screamed out hysterically and he knew that this wasn’t a coincidence. “Liam too,” Stephan whispered. “Emily, Felicity, how soon can you get to Sasha?” he asked. “No, I’m not leaving, just in case Warren returns,” Felicity snapped out rudely and Stephan growled. “Um, yeah, I could leave within the hour,” she said. “I’ll leave soon,” Emily whispered. “Ok, let’s meet there and we’ll figure this out…together,” Stephan hung up and ran out of the office to the kitchen. Jewel was standing in the middle of the kitchen with the pan of burnt eggs in her hand and a spatula in the other. “Liam’s missing?” “Yes, Colin, Tina, Warrity, and Daniel are missing too,” Stephan informed her. “What is going on?” Jewel asked. “I don’t know, pack a bag for the kids, we are going to your brother’s house,” Stephan kissed her forehead and ran upstairs. Whatever was going on, it didn’t feel right. ❤Felicity “Do you think someone is taking them?” Warren asked as he watched Felicity run around their bedroom, packing a bag. “I don’t know,” “Do you think Ayden and Sasha know something we don’t?” “We don’t know anything,” she snapped as she finished packing their bag. “Go and get the kids ready,” she told him before she took out her phone and called Emily. She was the only sister; Felicity was still close with. “Felicity!” Emily cried out when she answered. “Have you left yet?” she asked. “Not yet,” “Ok, listen to me, go to that petrol station, and find out everything you can, ok?” Felicity ordered. “Carl did that already,” Emily pointed out softly. “I know, but do it yourself, get as much information as you can,” she didn't trust Carl to do the job right and she needed to know if there were any similarities between the twin's car and War's. “Ok,” “Good girl, I’ll see you soon,” Felicity hung up and went out to find Warren struggling to get the kids together. She knew that it wasn’t going to work but she wasn’t prepared to leave them behind. “What is the problem here?” “Mom, we don’t want to go to Aunt Sasha,” Wynter wailed out stubbornly. “I don’t care what you want, pack a bag,” Felicity ordered as she went over to Wanita. “And you? What is your problem?” “Nothing, mom,” Wanita said as she started packing her bag. Felicity nodded before going into the nursery to pack Lisa a bag. Once everyone was ready, they headed out of the packhouse and to the truck. Axel, Jason, and Brielle were standing by, ready for their orders. “Keep an eye on the pack,” Felicity said before helping the kids get into the truck. “What she said,” Warren said with a soft chuckle before packing the back of the truck with all their luggage. “If you hear anything and I mean anything, call me,” Felicity added before she got into the passenger seat. “Again, what she said,” Warren said before he finally got into the driver’s seat. “Sure, you don’t want to drive too?” he asked Felicity sarcastically. “Ok,” she said before hopping out. Warren groaned as he got out and Felicity jumped in. He avoided Axel, Jason, and Brielle’s amused faces as he got into the passenger seat. “Don’t be such a wet blanket,” Felicity said as she started the car. ❤Sasha “So, they are all coming here?” Ayden asked as he paced the large sitting room. “Yes,” “And Stephan didn’t think to ask if he could do that?” “No,” “This is my pack and-” “Don’t you dare!” Sasha screamed out, interrupting him. “My boy is out there, somewhere and you don’t get to make this about you!” “Babe, I didn’t mean…I’m sorry,” Ayden hurried to apologize but the damage had already been done. Sasha turned around and walked out. She had asked Lilly to get the packhouse guest rooms ready. She had no idea if her siblings would be bringing their children, but she wanted to be prepared for anything. “Hey, mom, what’s going on?” George asked her as he came out of his room. “Um, Daniel is missing,” Sasha said carefully. She knew that the two boys weren’t all that close, but she wasn’t sure how he would take the news. “What do you mean missing? Did he run away?” George questioned. “No, I don’t think so. Some of your cousins are missing too,” she informed him. George’s eyes went wide in shock. “Please make sure your room is neat and tidy,” she added before going off to see the twins. It was, after all, their birthday today and the party was still being set up. How was she going to tell them that she needed to postpone it? “Mom! Look!” Ashton yelled out as he spotted her. He was holding up a white t-shirt with the pack's name on it. Midnight. It was quite cool, and she knew that Archie had spent quite a bit of time working on it. “Listen, boys, Daniel has gone missing,” “Should we help find him?” Ashton asked, immediately concerned for his older brother. “No, no, um, the thing is, some of your cousins have gone missing too,” “Who?” Archie asked her curiously. “Colin, Tina, Warrity, and Liam,” she told them. “So, the others are coming here, and I need you two to make sure this room is clean,” “Ok, mom,” they both said, and she smiled warmly at her twins. “About the party…” she trailed off, unsure of how she was going to say it. “Don’t worry, mom, we can have a pool party anytime,” Ashton said as he got up from the bedroom floor. “Besides, Daniel is more important than a party,” she nodded as she gazed into his eyes. He was quite smart. “Thanks,” she said before leaving their room. “Sasha!” she glanced over her shoulder and smiled at Lilly, her lifesaver. “All the rooms have been aired out,” she informed her. “Thanks, Lilly, where is Joshua?” “Oh, he went with Ayden to the border,” “Right, ok, let’s go to the kitchen, I’m sure they will all be hungry by the time they get here,” Sasha knew that she was using that as an excuse to keep her mind off the fact that her boy was gone. Ayden better get him back.
