“Why don’t you try to sleep, Trisha?” Jeffrey encouraged, “We still have two hours before we land.”
I was a bit mad at him earlier for not bringing me to the legal meeting, but I forgave him when he told me that Devlin did not join them. Anyway, what was the use of being there if I could not see Devlin?
Nevertheless, I was still disappointed about the meeting last night. I thought Devlin would take the opportunity to know me better. What was the use of asking me to join in the session if not to understand me better? But–he was so distant.
