Chapter 2

Adriana called Giovann again after two hours of preparation to say that they and their belongings were ready. Adriana is carrying only one suitcase, whereas Yaya Iva is carrying one suitcase and two large bags that appear to contain almost all of her belongings. "I'm already in Spain, Ms. Adriana. I'm on my way to you; I'll be at your doorway in five to ten minutes," Giovann said then immediately ended the call. He rushed to meet Adriana as soon as possible. He had to hurry because they were running out of time. Giovann arrived at the Ferrer family's Mansion in Barcelona, Spain, after eight minutes of driving. Because of its size, it also takes a few minutes to drive to the mansion's main entrance. When Giovann arrived, the guard immediately opened the door for him. Because he had called them earlier, the guards were already aware that he was on his way. Even those who have been keeping an eye on Adriana are aware that she must be returned to the Philippines due to what happened to her father. "Ma'am Adriana, your father's head of security was waiting for you downstairs," Jon said, referring to Adriana's bodyguard. “Okay! "Take my belongings to the car and notify Nanny Iva that we are leaving," Adriana instructed Jon. "Exactly as you requested, Madame!” Jon said, carrying Adriana's luggage, and then left. Adriana had just touched up her makeup before leaving the room. Before going downstairs, she looked around her large room and talked to herself. "It appears that it will be a long time before I return here. My palace, I'm starting to miss you! " Adriana thought to herself before dropping everything and going to see Giovann. All of Adriana's staff, including Jon and the three other bodyguards, as well as the three maids, were already lined up behind Giovann, who was carrying Adriana's suitcase and Yaya Iva's two other large bags. Adriana was taken aback by her future bodyguard's size because she was astounded by Giovann's physique. "Are you okay, Ms. Adriana? Why are you staring at me like that?" Giovann inquired with a serious voice. Adriana shook her head before responding. "It's nothing!" she exclaimed. After she said it, Giovann began carrying all of the luggage with his big hands, and just as Adriana turned her back, all of her employees called her, so she turned around and looked at them. "Our condolences to your father," they all said simultaneously. Adriana simply nodded. She sighed and looked at them for a few moments in silence before speaking. "All of you, you can leave while I'm still in the Philippines; I'll give you all a bonus. If you want to go back to the Philippines, that's fine; just make sure that when I'm here again, you're here too," Adriana said. Her employees' eyes widened as they heard what she said. They almost wanted to jump for joy because they would be free of Adriana's bad attitude, but they chose to stand and remain silent for fear of being hurt. "Are you serious, Ma'am Adriana?" Jon asked, still too shy to look his boss, straight in the eyes. Adriana approached him and crossed her arms. "Do I appear to be a joker? Do I appear to be a joke in your eyes that you question my seriousness?" Adriana raised an eyebrow. Giovann called Adriana and asked her to leave before her employees wanted to eat on the ground because of her bad attitude. "We must depart, Señorita! Your father is expecting you in the Philippines. We must hurry because time is of the essence," Giovann said to the girl standing in front of him. Adriana gave Jon a brief glance before turning away. She ordered more as she turned away. "Take care of my house. Make sure my things are still complete when I get back home. I don't want to miss your updates even though I'm in the Philippines. I want all of you to report your day to me, every single f*****g day. Do we understand each other?" Adriana said sarcastically before finally leaving her mansion with Giovann and her Nanny Iva. Adriana took the driver's seat, while Nanny Iva sat in the back, next to the two bags she was carrying. As they drove to the airport, silence descended upon them. The private plane that will fly them back to the Philippines is waiting for them. When Giovann rushed to see Adriana in Spain, he boarded the same private plane. "Are we still far?" Adriana inquired, raising an eyebrow at Giovann. Giovann didn't look at Adriana, but he answered her question anyway. "Give me at least five to ten minutes, Señorita Adriana; I just need to slow down to take care of you," Giovann said as he drove on. "You don't have to do that; do you want me to drive for you? I'm even more reckless than you," Adriana said irritably. She didn't say anything else. She simply leaned back in her seat and gazed out to the window. She tried to distract herself by thinking about something because the truth is, she is also hurting because her father died and, even though he hasn't been with her for a long time, she still can't forget him even though she lived in Spain. Another thing is that he is still her father and the one who gave her life. She immediately began to consider what would happen in her life after her father died. 'Can I handle all of the responsibilities that Daddy has left me? I am the only child in my family. I know that with the amount of business he has, it will all go to me. 'How am I going to handle that at the same time, if even one work is difficult for me?' Adriana pondered.
