“What? That’s all I get after saving your friendships?” He pulled away his arm, looking at her astounded.
“Come here!” She grabbed hold of his jacket and kissed him until he permitted her tongue into his mouth, and they softly explored each other until Julius cleared his throat. “Sorry.” Megan grinned. “Julius, Esmeralda asked if you would please put the little ones to bed while she helps Forest and Coral get Star and the babies settled. The sooner we can get all of them down to rest, the better.” Megan’s eyes were smiling for the first time in a long time.
“Sure, hun. Are you guys staying over for the day?” Julius smiled.
“Nah. You guys all need rest. We will check in with you tonight if that is, okay?” Anthony felt content w
