Julius returned home, sliding softly into bed next to Esmeralda. She stirred, pulling his arm closer over her. The moon goddess poofed in a puff of blue smoke to where ever it was that she went. Leshy and the others returned to where they all needed to be. Everyone had agreed how to meet up with Giselle’s parents. Councillors Bettini and Albright also said that they would look into Councillor Angelo’s personal library, to see if maybe he knew something that he was sworn to secrecy to keep to himself.
The next morning arrived with none of the others the wiser.
“Where did you go last night?” Meg yawned, stretching and then grabbed hold of Anthony before he could escape from bed.
