When I wake up, all that surrounds me is darkness.
My head still hurts like hell so it takes me a while to remember the last thing that happened before fainting.
"Alexander!" I exclaim, jumping out of bed.
Bad idea. The world starts spinning around me again and I fall on my knees. I try to get up, but I have a hard time figuring which way is up.
"Miraj?" Alexander asks, as he rushes inside, dripping wet from the bathroom. "What happened? Nightmare?"
