I go to bed without seeing Damian, which feels strange after spending so much time with him at the hotel. It’s even stranger to wake up in the morning and see that his side of the bed hasn’t been slept on. Instantly, my mind just runs in the wrong direction.
Now that he knows he has me, he is getting up to the same tricks as Simon! I’m furious by the time I go down for breakfast and, although I try my best to be friendly towards the pack members, I can’t help being angry.
After breakfast, I call my gamma guard to my office and make arrangements to go shopping. On the one hand, I want to spend Damian’s money just to get out of the house, but on the other, I really want to avoid using one cent!
I take my time and, thanks to the help of my omega, I have an idea of what I might need.
