“Lydia!!!!” I screamed her name as she answered the phone.
“I’m so sorry, Elena… I’ve been really busy, but I’m here now,” she explained herself before I could even confront her.
“It’s fine, I forgive you.” I rolled my eyes even though she couldn’t see me. “Lydia, a lot of things have happened.”
The last time we spoke was when I called her back at the hotel. She had no idea how messy my life had turned.
“Lydia, I am at my mom’s house with her new husband.”
“Really? You left Lucas?” Her voice sounded surprised. “I’m so happy for you, Elena.”
Lucas was such an asshole.
All my friends and family hated him.
