“Isabelle.” Isabelle's breathe hitched at the sound of Nathan's voice. She didn't know what to expect from the call but hearing his voice made her heart sink. He sounded so sad and so broken.
"Order them to stop driving." Nathan said his voice low. It was only a whisper and Isabelle was sure he did this so the people inside the car couldn't hear. Thankfully, the loud music playing inside the car helped muffle his voice. However, Sofia, who sat beside her heard Nathan clearly. She gave Isabelle a look.
Isabelle didn't know what to do. Mason who was driving and another make werewolf sitting at the passenger seat didn't seem to notice anything. She owed Nathan this. They were still friends. Despite her better judgement and Sofia's looks, Isabelle cleared her throat. "Stop the car."
