Darkness yet again engulfed Isabelle. She felt numb. Yet, there was an aching feeling in her abdomen. It felt like something was wrong with it. Isabelle's eyes felt so heavy. She couldn't lift them.
"Isabelle?" Someone called out to her. The voice sent delicious jolts through her body.
Isabelle forced her eyes open knowing exactly who was with her. Gavin was seated beside Isabelle his dark yellow eyes looking at her grey ones. "Gavin." She choked twisting to have a better view of her mate. Isabelle missed him so much.
Gavin placed a hand on her shoulder. He trying to stop her from moving. "You're still badly hurt." Gavin whispered his voice deep and hoarse.
"I'm fine." Isabelle answered but kept herself put. "What happened?"
"It's over now." Gavin said leaving no room for discussion.
