Eralia’s POV As I settle into the seat beside Benny at the end of my shift, something feels off; the security specialist seems a little wired, his leg is bouncing as he waits for me to buckle my seatbelt. ‘Is everything OK?’ I ask cautiously as I look over at him, he has this air of squashed excitement, like Austin when he had drawn a really cool picture of the four of us at school last year, the class had all made photo frames out of coloured popsicle sticks and stuck their drawings inside. My brother had carefully wrapped the creation in some newspaper and hidden it until my birthday. He’d been ready to burst as he handed it to me, the only present I’d received in years and that is the vibe I’m getting now from the man beside me. ‘Yup, everything is fine’ Benny replies smiling widely
