When we entered the dining room, most of the kids were seated at tables. Some of the ones who had living family members were sitting with them. There were still about eight who didn’t seem to have anyone. They were looking at the other kids with sad little expressions. I sent a link to our pack letting them know that there were eight pack shadow children still in need of homes, if anyone wanted to come and meet them. There were some excited responses. I was happy that we had people who wanted kids. If there were any left later, we’d check with the people from the previous pack to see if there were homes for them.
