Alina’s POV
“I have something to tell you,” Sloane said shyly, looking down at the floor as we headed back to the pack house after our morning training session.
“What is it?” I asked softly.
A small smile painted her dainty face and she looked up to meet my gaze. “I’m pregnant,” she whispered, looking around to check no one heard.
“What? Oh, Sloane! Congratulations!” I stopped walking and reached for her hand. “You are happy, right?” I said carefully.
“Of course!” Her whole face lit up. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Well, it’s just that you’re so young and you haven’t been with Fredrik for that long.”
“I am a year younger than you!” she laughed.
“Exactly! We are young!” I said, almost shocked at her reaction.
