The frantic voices of the mind links coming through from my border control stopped me in my tracks in front of the pack house.
“Sound the alarm!” I shouted at men posted on the pack house balcony. They nodded and ran inside and within seconds, the alarm sounded, and chaos erupted. Women and children came running out of their homes with fear-stricken faces towards the pack house safe room. A few warriors grabbed younger children to get them there faster. Men ran into the woods, shifting into their wolf’s mid-air to the locations of the vampires but my head spun. This wasn’t right. They were coming in from every direction, but how?
