Francemia and Deja are on the sofa in their pajamas when Joaquin returns home. He stood back listening to them talking about the baby. Deja wants to know what’s going to happen to her. Francemia tells her this is her home and will always be her home. Deja hugs her. Joaquin looks at Francemia confused, wondering what she meant by that. He tried to listen to her thoughts about her plans for Deja. The only thing he heard was she wanted to protect Deja.
She looked at Joaquin. He nodded, looking at the pretty smile on Deja’s face. He kisses Francemia’s forehead and takes the plate of pizza Deja is handing him.
