I chewed on my bottom lip anxiously, my hand tapping the steering wheel as I waited for the red light in front of me to turn green.
That's when I heard my phone ring as a small part of me hoped it was Caspian telling me to come back home..but no such luck..
"Hey bestie..today is your first day!! You on your way there yet?" Anna asked excitedly, making me let out a sigh.
"I'm just a few blocks away.." I grumbled.
"Jo..come on, show some f*****g enthusiasm. Caspian and Everett will be fine. I think Moose and Milo are actually meeting up with him and your brother at the park later to hangout." Anna informed me, causing me to gasp.
"What?! He didn't tell me about that..what the hell.."
"Did you expect him to stay home all day and mope around until you got back?" She teased.
