I watch from the other side of the glass as Dr. Medina hands my son over to Elliot. I wish I could be there too, but I know she needs some time and space right now.
The glasses to all hospital rooms are soundproof so they don’t disturb the wolves in the rooms, but it also means that I can’t hear what Dr. Medina is saying to Elliot. I try to read their expressions, well, I guess only Elliot’s expressions. I can see that whatever Dr. Medina has told her is calming her down or maybe it’s because our son is in her arms, either way she appears more calm.
