I was certain that Max was coming to take Anaiah with him and I was at a point where I felt like none of us could have her. There was just no way that I was just going to hand her over to him when he came over here, if he wanted her from me he would have to fight for her, and that war was probably going to end with one of us dead. This was the destiny that was meant for us from the very beginning. We both knew that wolf lands were only big enough to accommodate one of us and now was the time for me to take my place and put an end to his life.
