3rd Person POV
Smoke leaves Laius ears as if they were chimneys.
“Why are you smoking around, hum? You have no right to be mad at me, buddy! You are the one who screwed up.” Liv says folding her arms on her chest, as he comes closer to her. “Don't come any closer!”
“I am not mad at you. I am just mad! I…”
“What?” She raises a single brow.
“Liv, I…” Laius has never said these words to anyone in his very long life. “I am sorry” he whispers.
“He should just have started saying that he is sorry, damn stupid devil!” Avalon mutters to Elric. The Elf King nods his head in agreement.
“Hum…” she murmurs, waiting for him to continue.
“I can't lose you… I won't do it ever again… Can you forgive me?” Laius asks nervously.
She looks at his red eyes for a minute and sighs. “You better not even think about doing so again. Because if there is a next time, I will cut your junk with the very dagger that you gave me… Are we clear?” He nods, his eyes coming back to their normal whiskey colour. “And fire that succubus…” He nods once more and gets closer to her again.
“No!” She motions for him to stop by lifting her palm up in the air. “You will take a very long shower before even think about getting near me!”
Liv looks to her other 2 mates who were watching the scene from the doorway, finally acknowledging their presence. “That suits you two as well, cheating won't be tolerated in this relationship!” She utters firmly.
“I wouldn't have it any other way,” Elric says, earning him a growl from Laius, but the King of Hell stops when Liv gives him a pointed look.
“Damn, she is hot when she snaps, and it is not at me!” Avalon mutters under his breath.

Laius wouldn't do it again, he meant what he said to his mate. It wasn't like he wanted any other female anyway, but his manhood was throbbing and making his pants tighter every time he saw and smelled his woman. He just wanted some sort of relief. Mircella was there and she was a teaser, she was a succubus, teasing and seducing were pretty much part of who she was, then one thing led to another. But from now on he would need to find another way to calm his urges. He couldn’t risk losing his Liv.
She was growing to be the most important part of his life, as a mate should be. He was shocked with his own behaviour and everything that he changed on himself, just by being near her, just to be near her.
For the first time, he could feel blood pumping inside his dead heart, and he knew that it was her doing. Even before they solidified their bond, she did it to him. She did it without intending to, it was an effect of her very existence. He could hear his own heartbeat the first time he inhaled her scent in the ball hall. Before Livia, his heart was an appendix organ, only there to fill the space, only there to mock on the hollow that overtook him.
Maybe he should be ashamed of himself, the King of Hell developing a soft spot for a woman, but he was too happy with having her for even considering feel ashamed, not that he was familiar with something like shame. He was rather shameless. She wasn't just a woman, she was his mate, the life that he craved for centuries. The beauty and love that he didn't deserve but that he would hold on to as nothing else matters.
He was still ruthless and had as his job, and his hobby, torturing censurable souls. Well, that was a job as any other and someone had to do it, otherwise how corrupt politicians and people who still that last piece of pizza could be dealt with.
The King of Hell now belonged to a mouthy and sassy little witch, and he couldn´t be more overjoyed. She was his and she would soon be only his.

Liv was still enraged, but it wasn't as she had a choice. The bond was growing intense and stronger as she spent more time with her mates, now that she decided to embrace it. The pull was starting to consume her like hellfire and soon she would let them mate her, she would literally jump on them. Her body was craving its mates´ as her soul was craving their presence, their words, and knowing that they also wanted her, care for her.
She knew that it would be even stronger after they complete their mating, then she would be able to be inside their minds, communicate with them through mind-links, and feel everything that they feel. She would be bound to each of them in every level, her soul would entwine with the souls of each of her mates.
It was quite overwhelming to think that her soul would be intertwined in parallel with the souls of each of her 3 mates. The knowledge that her feelings towards them and the pull would also grow tenfold after the solidification of their bond also made her afraid. She would then delay it, as long as she could.
Now she could understand her mother and her persistence in staying with her father even though she couldn´t truly have him. She couldn‘t even imagine the pain that Mel lives with by being forced to have her mate bond pulled, pushed, and stretched as a cable. Being far from a mate and being denied having all of a mate was the worst sorrow that a supernatural being could ever face.
That thought leads her to decide that she should confront Elric about her parents’ situation. Heck, he should know something, as Maximum’s King, he should know why his subject, and second in command, was playing hide and seek with her poor mother and their bond.
Moreover, she has never asked him how he came to know that they were mates. Her elf had some questions to answer and as the no-patient girl she was, she wouldn't wait to question him. After all, now is always the best time to solve issues and figure the answers to old questions.
