SELENESEE

As soon as I woke up, all I can still feel was the loneliness and emptiness that this room was giving me.

What did I've done to deserve to be treated like this?

Why do they make me feel so empty?

"Damned, Bitch you're still alive?" Valene hissed as she saw me, and I looked down while not answering her.

"Stupid! Look at me when I'm talking to you," Valene said as she kicked me hard on my leg.

"Stop it, Valene it hurts," I said in a small voice. I can hardly speak since they won't give me food or water.

"You'll be hurt again if you will disrespect me." She said while she grabs my hair and slaps me.

"Paolo, tell our other men to go here and bring some whip. We've got some bitch to teach a lesson". Valene calls one of our father's servants, who's been there at the door since I don't know when.

"But Young Miss, won't Alpha Simeone kill us?". Paolo asked as he looked at me pitifully.

"Why would he get angry? I will be the next Luna and will be his mate, not this bitch.." Valene said angrily. Paolo hesitantly followed Valene, who was looking at him.

As soon as Paolo went out of the door, Valene looks back at me and smirks.

"Let's see if you will be still alive after this one," Valene said with a laugh.

I couldn't think of anything. All I know is that Valene is up to something terrible and I didn't get wrong when I saw Paolo entering the room again with another man who's holding a whip.

"Valene, please don't do this to me. I'm still your sister." I looked at Valene and plead with her not to hurt me.

"That's it, beg for your life bitch!". Valene laughs as she saw me begging her.

"Why will you do this Valene? Father loves you very much, Simeone has already rejected me and now you will be his Luna, so why are you still doing it?'. I cried as I ask her those questions.

"You ask why?". Valene said, and I saw anger in her eyes.

I nodded my head slowly, and I looked at her and saw she was trembling out of anger.

"Well, let me tell you this since you'll gonna die soon," Valene said as she walks around me.

"Well, my dearest sister, you've been nothing but a stealer. You still have those people's attention. You're always the one who's beautiful to them, but guess what? when they've learned that you're useless since you don't have any gifts they praised me, but I'm not happy you know why? , why would I feel happy about it? They just praised me because I have something you don't and that alone makes me hate you. I loved Simeone since we were kids, but when you show yourself? He just left me. But again, who would want a useless Luna who can't even shift to her she-wolf? Do you know how it feels to be just a replacement?". She asked as she was crying. I just shook my head and was startled when she shouted.

"You don't? You don't know? HAHAHAHA, why would you know when in the first place you were locked up here? You don't know that father just loved me because he doesn't have a choice? And you don't know how it feels when you're just a choice. You won't feel the pain I've been going through since you were born, and I promise myself that if I suffer, you will suffer twice." She said as she started whipping me and I just whimpered in pain.

"You need to die so no one thinks that I'm just a replacement for you". She said as she beat me again. I wanted to shout, but I couldn't find my voice. I looked at Paolo who was there but trying to avoid looking at us.

"Help, please". I pleaded as I can feel that my consciousness was slowly fading away and I saw Paolo walking towards us, but I couldn't hear them anymore and before I could open my eyes, the darkness already swallowed me.

Paolo saw everything as Valene beat Selenesee he walked toward where Valene is, he was going to stop Valene from killing her sister.

"Young Miss, I think we'd better stop," Paolo said as he stopped Valene from whipping her sister who was now lying on the floor bloodily.

"Don't stop me, Paolo! That bitch deserved to die." Valene said as she was going to hit Selenesee again but she was stopped by Paolo again.

"I know my place, young miss, and that is why I'm stopping you. Even though miss Selenesee was rejected by the Alpha, still she's the mate and their bond was not broken and by now I knew that Alpha Simeone already knows what was happening to his original mate." Paolo said which made Valene still.

"I -I thought their bond was removed?" Valene said but Paolo didn't answer he knelt and touch Selenesee and woke her up but the latter still didn't flinch or made a small move, which made Paolo check her breathing and he stiffened when he didn't feel any air coming out from her and he checks her pulse to see if he was just mistaken or not.

"Damn it!" Paolo said as he didn't get any pulse from his supposed to be luna.

"W-why are you cursing?" Valene asked and felt fear.

"She's dead, " Paolo said in a small voice.

" So? If she's dead then it's better I'm gonna be your Luna." Valene said. She shirked the fear that she felt a while ago.

Paolo was about to answer when someone stormed from the door, which made the person inside shake out of fear because of the aura coming from that someone who looks ready to kill.

Paolo was the one who woke up from being stilled and he bows his head.

"A-ALPHA." Paolo couldn't find the right words to say.

Valene, on the other hand, already moves and comes near to Simeone.

"D-darling, what are you doing here? " Valene asked as she clings to Simeone, But Simeone just removed her hand from him.

"What's going on here?" Simeone asked in a full authoritative voice so that they will learn who was superior to them.

No one answered, and Simeone looked behind Paolo and there he saw the lifeless body of his mate.

His mate whom he rejected because he doesn't want a weak wolf to be his mate but he didn't mean her to be killed like this, He just thought that Selenesee was being locked up by her father until the day of the ceremony of breaking their bond which he didn't announce all along everyone thought that his bond with Selenesee has been removed but it needs some time and ritual for the moon goddess.
