Chapter 10

SELENESEE'S POV'

Selenesee was still on the bed while she was sitting. She could feel her stomach growl because she was starving. She was used to being like this when she was still in their family dungeon. Before, she could only eat once a day if her father was there and if he was not there.

Selenesee knew in her heart that her father still cared for her but, sadly, because he was ashamed to have her as his daughter, he was ignoring her.

Her family was always cruel to her, but she understood them since she was just a child out of wedlock and she was a fruit of her father's and mother's unacceptable affair.

But this time, she didn't understand why her sister would do anything just to make her disappear, even her mate. She was a little disappointed and hurt that he didn't even stop her sister from doing those things to her. He should've known it since they were mate and they have a connection, but it seems like he doesn't care for her even a bit.

She knew he didn't want her since she was too weak for him to be his mate, and besides, he and Valene had some sort of relationship. Valene let her show their video while they were f*****g each other.

She didn't want to remember the day when she felt her first-ever betrayal from her mate. She thought mates should reserve their elves for each other, but she was wrong.

Her mate was mating with her sister, and she felt like dying when she saw that. She had nothing, all she had was her mate. She thought he would save her from where she was, but she was wrong. He just made everything worse.

Selenesee's thoughts were interrupted when someone entered the room.

It surprised the servant who had just gone in inside the room where her prince and guest were staying to see that the woman they had kept nursing for the past few days was now awake.

The maidservant was still in awe, since she had never seen such eyes before. Those golden eyes that this woman possessed is something unique and seem powerful.

Selenesee didn't know what to do since it scared her when there were some people around here. She'd had been traumatized by those people in their old house who always lashed her whenever Valene told them so, and some of them almost killed her by that, bit after what Valene did, she was thankful that she didn't tell her men to rape her or else she would be dead by now.

"My lady." The servant said as she walked closer to Selenesee, who moved back and leaned on the wall, as she was shaking.

The servant had noticed that her prince's guess seemed to be afraid of her since she can see her shaking and trembling.

"W-Who are you?". Selenesee asked as she was trying to hide in the bed.

The servant was right. This woman in front of her was afraid of being near her.

"I am Chiara, my lady," she said as she looked at the woman in front of her, Chiara knew she should call her master but, since he was busy at the moment, she just continued on talking to him his master's guest.

Selenesee looked at the woman in front of her and she couldn't sense any danger at her. Somehow, she felt relaxed by that thought.

"Where am I?". Selenesee asked the woman, since she still didn't know where she was.

"You're in our castle my lady." the woman and Selenesee frowned, as for she didn't know that they had some castle now in their pack, maybe because it had been years since she last saw the outside world since her family forbids letting her out. For them, they should lock her up so no one would know which family she came from.

"Do we have a castle know in our pack?". Selenesee asked innocently and the woman in front of her frowned, as if she didn't get what she said.

"Pack? You mean the Kingdom? Yes, the vampire kingdom has some castles here". Chiara answered, which made Selenesee stunned for a while. She may be innocent about some things, and she may have been unaware of everything since they had locked her up for so long, but she still knew that the vampires were their mortal enemies.

HELLIOUS POV'

Hellious was now signing some of his paper since it was for the fund of their kingdom, the castle needs to be repaired and renovate some parts of it since , they might seemed to be okay but this castle of them is a thousand years old and needs some repairing funds so that it won't collapse.

and of course he need funds for his kingdom since most of them are not eating any people and they were just eating some animals which they can see or the animals that they have raised, his works might be a little easy but, no, sometimes whenever he gets tired he'll just leave all the documents inside his office was because he wanted to relax himself.

Hellious felt envious of his siblings since they can.do what they want and they can go where they want while him, the eldest one was stuck with some paper works and sometimes he would just sleep on it and then when he woke up in the morning there he will see also of those again.

He knew his parents weren't pressuring him and he was doing all of it since he didn't want to give anyone, some problem, and as their future king, Hellious should know how to handle this kind of situation, since if he took his father's throne away, his work would be tripled.

He had seen how busy his dad was as a king. Even his mother had complained to him, but he knew his mom was just only joking. That's their love language for each other..
