CHAPTER 7

THIRD PERSON'S POV'

"Have you got everything ready?". Simeone said as he looked at his trusted person, who was still on guard at their border. Simeone took a break from all of his work.

"Yes, Alpha. So far, there are no vampires that have been lost within our territory". Nicholas said as he looked at Simeone, who was now roaming his eyes on the border which Nicholas was guarding with some of the pack's members. He was one of his trusted men. Aside from his cousin Xerias, Nicholas was also one of their best friends.

"That's great to hear. What about the thing I have talked to you about?". Simeone said in almost a whisper.

Nicholas looked at his Alpha, who was looking at him with pleading in his eyes. He knew he was pertaining to his mate, who had just died, but her body had just gone missing. They were about to burn her dead body that day as they were going to give her a final funeral as Luna was there. Since that was what Simeone wanted, he wanted to give his mate a proper burial with dignity.

"I still don't know who took her body, Alpha". Nicholas said as he looked at his Alpha with pity in his eyes. They still didn't get any leads about where the body of Selenesee, even him, who brought the body to that room that day, was shocked to see that there was nothing to see there.

SELENESEE'S POV'

Selenesee felt the sun was brushing her face, and she was glaring at it since the light was too bright and it hurt her eyes even if it was closed. She tried to open her eyes, but it felt so heavy when she finally opened them. She roamed her eyes around the place since she was wondering why she could see and feel the sun when in her room in the dungeon. There was no window there.

She tried to get up from lying as she noticed that the bed where she was lying was very smooth and uncomfortable, unlike in the dungeon where she slept on the cold floor.

She was in an unfamiliar room, but the question is, who it was? It was impossible that this was their home since it was enormous and she was sure her family couldn't afford to have this kind of room.

Where is she? Did they sell her to some brothel, or worse?

Selenesee was still thinking when, suddenly, some flashbacks of what happened before she lost her consciousness appeared on her mind.

HELLIOUS POV'

Hellious was now in his room as he had just gone to have his shower. After that, he would go to the room where the woman was staying.

He wanted to see if she was awake now or still sleeping. It must exhaust her body from the abuse that she felt. He could feel that and based on her moan every night, he would conclude that she was always tortured, since she was always dreaming and moaning was very painful. He tried to read her mind, but he couldn't read it and it was such a big mystery for him.

I knew Hellious for his ability to read someone's mind even if it is powerful or just an ordinary person, but with that woman,.

It was his first time trying to read someone's mind, and he had failed. Also, her smell, her smell, was something that would make anybody want her. He wondered who her mate was. He must be very lucky to have wanted a woman as his mate.

Hellious went out of his room after he finished dressing. It would be rude for a prince to roam around naked. Hellious smirked at what he thought.

He was known for his destructive behavior and, of course, his temper. That's why everyone in this kingdom was afraid of him. It was fine for him since he didn't like it. He'd rather be a simple person without responsibilities on his shoulders.

But what can he do? He was born to rule the vampires, and he was born to be a king, said by the prophecy. The oracles said he would rule the kingdom, but his mom had this feeling that the oracles were still hiding something from them.

Every kingdom has its own oracles that can give them some prophecy.

He had reached the door, and he didn't bother knocking since he was expecting her to be asleep still.

He was surprised when his eyes landed on the bed and the woman who was lying there last night was already gone.

He was about to call someone when he noticed that there was someone who was sitting on the floor beside the bed.

He didn't see her first, since- Hellious was stunned when she saw the woman, the golden-haired girl, and there was a red-haired woman sitting and hiding beside the bed and the table in the corner of her room.

Hellious have never been as red as fire as a hair of a person before. When you look at her hair, it seemed like it was a fire and she was ready to hurt her enemies. He tried to kneel in front of her and he called her.

"Who are you?". Hellious asked the woman who he still didn't recognize as the woman didn't show her face yet.

SELENESEE'S POV'

Selenesee went to hide herself beside the bed and the table as she could hear some footsteps coming into the room where she was sitting.

She heard the door open and there she could even hear the man's breathing. It was unusual for her, since she didn't have a strong sense of hearing. She also heard the man walking closely in her direction. She was still hiding her face since she knew this person might be one of Valene's men and was ordered to kill her.

"Who are you?". Selenesee heard the man ask, and she still didn't show her face as she was afraid. After what she saw before, she lost consciousness. She didn't have any strength to look into anyone's eyes.
