The One He Rejected

CHAPTER 8

Hellious looks at the woman who was still not answering his question. He walked closer to her to see her face, but he stopped when he noticed she was shivering. He was wondering what was wrong with her since he didn't want to harm her. He just wanted to know why and what happened to her.

But it seemed like, by the looks of her, he couldn't talk to her. She looked like she was scared to be near someone based on her body's reaction. He tried to read her mind again, but then again he failed to do it. This woman may have some power that can block his power to read her mind.

" Hey, I was just asking, and I mean no harm," Hellious said tenderly to the woman as he was gaining her trust.

The woman was still unresponsive, and it was such a miracle that he still had some patience in talking to her, who seemed to be afraid to even lift her face.

Selenesee still didn't lift her face as she was still afraid that the person in front of her might hurt her like her family always did to her. She was afraid that she felt herself shivering.

"Hey, I was just asking, and I mean no harm." Selenesee heard the man say as he walked closer to her, which just made her shiver again.

She heard his deep sigh like he was just trying to calm himself and was still trying to make his patience long. But no matter what he was doing, Selenesee couldn't find the strength to look him in the eyes, because the last time she tried to look at someone straight in the eyes she hoped they would accept her for her and they would stop hurting her.

"Don't be afraid of him, Selenesee. You're stronger than anyone and this man smells no harm." her she-wolf said as the man was now kneeling in front of her.

Hellious noticed that the woman was shaking her head. She looked like someone was bugging her mind, and she was trying to shrug it off.

"He will be one of your allies, Selenesee, and he will play a big part in your life." This time it surprised Selenesee that it was not her she-wolf who was talking to her now. There is another voice, and she was just talking to her now.

"Who are you? " Selenesee whispered to her mind, as she was wondering who owned the voice since she only knew her she-wolf Demetria and this unknown voice was unfamiliar to her.

Hellious was still looking at the woman, who was now holding her head and covering her ears. He couldn't stand to watch it anymore, so, as he was kneeling in front of her, he tried to touch her again, and she lost consciousness.

Hellious was surprised since he did nothing to her and there she was again, lying unconscious.

SIMEONE

I took a sip from my glass as I was looking at the moon. I never felt so sad while looking at the moon. Way back then, whenever I saw the moon, I was feeling at peace and happy, but now the moon was my witnessed that I am not happy. I don't know why I was feeling like a part of me was missing. Maybe it's because before Selenesee died and her body was still not found, my wolf was missing her. After all, I was her mate.

I was still looking at the moon when someone entered my room. I didn't bother to turn my back to look.

"Hey, Darling." someone said as I just felt some arms wrapping around my waist and now she was kissing me on my neck.

I don't know why I didn't like Valene's touch now before we used to make out, but now it seemed like she disgusted me. I didn't know why, but it all happened when I saw what she did to her sister. I knew Valene was cruel but I didn't know that she could be this cruel, that she had even killed her sister, and she made an excuse that her sister had tried to kill her. That's why she killed her since it was her defense,

"What are you doing here?" I said as I didn't bother to put some emotion in my voice.

Valene just continued touching me. I was not feeling anything with her touch. Not even my c**k stirred a bit, even if she was holding it and caressing it now.

I was getting bored and I turned to her. She kissed me on my lips, while I was trying to free myself from the kiss as I didn't like it.

I was walking back and forth inside the room where the woman was still lying unconscious when will wake up again? I needed some answers from her. Why is she here? Did she know she was in their sworn enemies' territory? And how the heck did she get here? I knew that even if both clans had the trust not to touch each other, they shouldn't step on each other's territory, so no wars would happen.
