Wait God?

Mona St. James watched the magnificent specimen of the male hall a huge stack of hay across the field.  "Good Goddess have mercy" She sighed as his muscles bulged from the task.  She squeezed her thighs together which caused her to become unstable on her tree perch. She was standing on a branch, leaning forward and holding onto another branch to her right with both hands. Fascinated by the sight before her, she never thought that she would ever find farm work so...so... simulating. As she watched him through the branches and leaves at the top of the tree, she fantasized about climbing him. Then maybe sitting squaring on top of his face.  Her whole body shivered at the thought bad Mona she reprimanded herself. She didn't know where these lusty thoughts were coming from but they were very much unlike her. Usually, she had to work hard to stimulate anything below her waist but not so in this case. The case of a shirtless, jean pants-clad, sweat rolling down his chocolate skin, muscles rippling in the sun male. Mona sighed deeply. She had told herself many times in the last hour and a half to get down out of the tree and stop lusting after the man. But ever since she spotted him coming out of the barn, she was hooked. He was carrying bales of hay like they were fluffy clouds and she became memorized by his strength; not to mention his awe-inspiring body. Having never seen a dragon shifter before, her curiosity had gotten the better of her when she heard that one had just settled on a farm close to the market where she had been. She had hurried over to the property and thought maybe she could get a glimpse of him over his fence. But then she saw a tree just inside the fence and with her affinity for climbing trees, she was up in its high branches in no time. As she watched him work she thought this was the best thing to have happened to her since she had started on the adventure of a lifetime the day before yesterday.  The rest of the events were decidedly negative, starting with her being attacked by bandits. Who then gave her dinner when they found out her destitute state, so that was good. However, not long after that, she was propositioned by not one but two mountain trolls! The thought still caused her severe distress and disgust. Then to top it all off she was almost kidnapped just this morning by unsavory characters whom she was sure were slave traders! The journey to find one's mate was a perilous one and not for the faint of heart. It was certainly not for a poor latent seer from the backwoods of Glend Da Vale.  Her thoughts were plagued with indecision, should she give up and return to her parent's vegetable farm and marry the village crazy man (He was often seen roaming the streets shouting about shadow warriors). Her parents had threatened her with this before she left home. If she didn't find her mate then when she came back home, she would have to marry Lenroy Savet. The only reason Lenroy was available was that he had a known mental illness, paranoid schizophrenia, and no other family in the village wanted to take the risk of introducing that into their family.  Her parents didn't have such fears they just wanted her out of their home and lives. She was an embarrassment to then as much as Lenroy was to his family. Although he couldn't help who he was any more than she could. He was actually a sweet soul aside from believing that shadow warriors from Planet X were going to attack LaTierra. But she didn't love him and she didn't have any sexual reaction towards him. So the prospect of a forced marriage between them sent sparks of terror through her. On the other hand, if she continued her journey which would take about a month on foot to get to the shifter capital. There is no guarantee that she would find her mate. The vision was vague and seconds short. Should she continue on her journey which has been perilous so far and had an uncertain ending. Or should she go home and surely be married to a man with an unpredictable mental illness. Decisions, decisions Mona tapped her chin as she thought. The fact that she could gain her mate was a massive allure for her. What should she do? Do the risks out weight the rewards? She didn't have the answers but she did know that there were beautiful moments in her journey too. Like the field of wild Lily Grass, she found on the first day or the spring with the friendly Water Sprites. They had given her a Droplet case for her meager belonging in return for her bundle of Lily Grass flowers. Not to mention the endless trees she had climbed and the animals and creatures never seen before whom she had frolicked with.  Yes, the journey so far has been dangerous but she wouldn't give up her new memories for anything. Especially the one she was making right now, watching the giant male with his shaved blonde head and skin a deliciously dark shade of brown. Thinking of which, where did her chocolate blonde go? Mona started to crane her neck to get a better look at the farm maybe he went inside the barn she thought with disappointment. Intent on locating her man she didn't look where she was placing her hand. Which was to the left, on nothing; she promptly lost her balance and started her descent from the big tree, free falling. She tried to grab a branch to stop her fall but that only resulted in her hands getting bashed on the branches.  Well, at least I saw a little bit of the world before I died. She thought I hope I die on impact and wouldn't suffer or be horribly maned from this rookie mistake. She prayed as she hurdled towards the ground. Aden Solburn flashed out of the portal just in time to see the bundle falling from the tree. He immediately spelled the falling individual so that the person slowed down. Then he levitated the slender body so it avoided being hit on the branches.  Through it, all the bundle didn't make a sound. He held out his arms and the bundle floated down into them. As soon as their skins touched Aden could have sworn rainbow lights sparked. He blinked a few times and they were gone, he shook his head dismissing the event obviously he has been in the sun for far too long. The bundle wiggled a bit drawing his attention down, that was when Aden saw the most beautiful face he had ever beheld. The woman was still tense and her eyes were tightly closed. Aden was glad of this because she wouldn't see his immediate reaction to her angel-like face. Her smooth brown skin glowed and he wanted to like the sweat from her body. He swallowed and took a discreet deep breath Hmmm she smelled great, like my favorite rose. Aden thought before he caught himself. Don't be sidetracked by her looks Aden focused. He chided himself. While Aden struggled with his instant reaction to Mona. Mona was thinking wait I didn't die or even hit the ground.  My fall was suddenly slowed. She reasoned with herself and I gently landed on... Mona wiggled a bit more... big strong arms? She released her clenched position. Adrenaline making her pulse run. She began to explore her current perch. Wow! Mona thought she had died and gone to heaven when she felt those arms encase her. For some indecipherable reason, she felt safe in these arms. Dear goddess if this is heaven give me a minute in these arms before you judge me, she prayed. "You can open your eyes now" The voice rumbled at her from above. Her eyes popped open "Wait god?!" She exclaimed turning to where the voice came from. It wasn't one of THE Gods, no it was better than a deity. She was drowning into the deepest gray eyes she had ever seen. They belonged to her chocolate blonde male. Mona felt her lower belly tighten and liquid pool between her legs. She didn't question her reaction, he was the most attractive man she had ever seen. Caught up in the feel that was rushing through her. She whispered in awe "Ohhh it's my chocolate blonde God" Mona then without thought or hesitation reached for his face and brought it down for her to kiss him.
