Holden sat in his chair, staring at the green board that Ms. Gomez was writing, but his mind was on what happened between him and his father. It wasn't anything new, but it had made him feel like s**t, like it always did. He hated to be compared, frequently, to Hunter. Of course, Holden loved his brother, because they shared the connection. The bond. There was nothing like it, the bond between the twins. But to be always in his shadow, to be compared with him always... that was something Holden absolutely hated.
Holden gritted his teeth as he recalled what happened that morning during breakfast.
