Sky realized she had been sobbing, blubbering and ranting and Holden might not understand half of what she was saying, but he was still so patient with her, as he tried to comfort her with words and soft touches. After a while, when she felt like she could finally breathe without feeling like she was drowning in grief, she pulled away from Holden and she immediately missed the warmth and comfort his body had given her.
