Lyra sat staring at the floor unable to look up and meet the eyes of the two men standing over the four of them. The look Isaac had shot her when he’d come into the house behind Alvar had made her shiver. It was clear his friend was angry, and he’d been taking the brunt of it, and he wasn’t appreciating it one bit.
She felt she was in trouble for participating in the hacking of Alvar’s systems. It was obvious she couldn’t have done the work but the fact she had encouraged the behavior and supported the woman who had brainstormed the idea had her in deep s**t.
