Kimmie was ready to pull her hair out.
Ajax had called back hours ago, but she hadn’t been able to talk with him. He’d had a conversation with Alvar and Isaac and despite Dimitra trying to listen in from her walk-in closet, she didn’t know what was going on.
Then Alvar and Isaac had said they needed to leave, and they’d taken Ares with them. They demanded the women stay together to keep each other company. Isaac had commented he was worried in the middle of the night, the nerves of what was going on would get to Dimi, Darya or Kimmie and he wanted them to be available to each other.
