Lyra was helping Kimmie and Mrs. K clean the kitchen trying to ignore the argument of Magda and Ares a few feet away. Sienna, Dimi, and Darya had gone upstairs to Dimi’s bedroom after the woman had spilled her milk all over herself and Darya.
It seemed Ares had reached his limit to the amount of time he could stay in the same vicinity as Alvar Caputo and his team.
