Bonus Chapter 11
Lyra felt like a princess as Isaac led her into the restaurant at the top of a hotel overlooking the city. The windows offered a panoramic view of the ocean on one side and the city behind them.
“This is beautiful.”
“Yes, it is,” Isaac’s eyes were on her.
She blushed as she realized he was complimenting her. She felt him squeeze her hand before he led her to a table set for two near the window overlooking the ocean. He pulled her chair out and when she sat, he leaned over her shoulder and kissed her cheek softly. He took the seat opposite her, not once releasing her hand.
“I’ve missed you this week Lyra. I cursed Alvar a thousand times for taking an impromptu honeymoon when I was desperately wanting to spend time with you.”
“Desperately?” she questioned.
