Vee and Pete’s mom waited in front of the operating room for the nurse of the doctor to come out and tell them the result of the surgery. They lost track of the time as they just stared at the door, waiting literally for everyone.
“How is he?” Vee asked the moment the doctor came out of the surgery. They were hanging on every word the doctor said.
“He is stable. The operation went well with no further complications. They are moving him into a sterile room where he will stay until tomorrow and then we will move him to a normal room. Speak to the nurse and get your sterile suits. Once Pete wakes up, you can go visit him.” The doctor briefly informed him about the surgery. They were happy to hear the operation went well and waited for a nurse to follow her.
