Sophia pov. I stayed beside Mary in the cemetery. Her mother has been buried and everyone was now leaving. We heard a lot of words of condolences. “Be brave. She is in a better place now.” Many of them told Mary as they passed by. Some of them didn’t say much. Instead gave a pat on the back or a comforting hug. Mary had stopped crying. Thought her face was now flushed and her eyes were puffy and red. She sniffed and took in a shaky breath. “Looks like we are only ones here now.” She said. I looked around. She was right.
