“Hey, Kira. Mary is here. Let’s go and meet? Her mom died yesterday. I think it would be nice for her to meet you.” I said as soon as the dark magicians left. I was trying to avoid Luke as much as possible. I am not ready to talk to him yet. Perhaps sometime later.
Kira snapped her head at me. “you mean, Mary’s mom died and she still came to fight?” she asked in surprise.
I shrugged. “She wanted to make her dad proud. Her dad was a fierce warrior.” I told her.
“Oh yes. He was one of the best.” Alpha Adam confirmed. “I am proud of him and he is forever alive for us. Those who died in war sacrifice themselves for a greater good.” He nodded at us. “Now his mate has joined him. I am more than sure both of them will be happy together.” He added and looked at the Luna. She smiled
