113 - The Detour

Katerina     Voices outside of my hotel room awakened me earlier than I wanted, but it was for the best, since I needed to get on the road as soon as possible.  Using the single-serve coffee maker provided by the hotel, I brewed a small cup of coffee and sipped it until the temperature came down enough for me to down the rest.     Next, I ran a bath for Sadie before I attempted to wake her.  She was a little groggy at first, but she knew who I was, and it wasn’t long before she was cheerfully asking me questions about my house.     After getting her bathed, I had Sadie wear the longest t-shirt I had with me.  It was actually one of Dmitriy’s dark blue t-shirts with a silver monster truck on the front.  I knew I would miss him, so I brought it with me in case I got sad.     Before leavi
