Leticia’s POV
The cabin came into view through the thicket of trees, its weathered wooden exterior blending seamlessly with the forest. For a second, I considered turning around. I don’t know Kartein; he is a mystery to me, so why am I doing what he asked?
I shook my head.
My survival skills are nonexistent; if someone attacked me now, I would be doomed.
“He won’t hurt you,” My wolf assured, and she said it so confidently that I wondered why she was so sure.

“Because he likes you,” She stated bluntly.
