I heard every word Connor and Lucius said to each other.
So Lucius brought us to this resort because of me. He left his parents' mansion for my comfort. I felt this weird flutter in my chest. The Alpha who said to only want our baby actually cared about how I felt.
I stayed still with my eyes shut, trying to figure out what all this meant.Maybe our arrangement wasn't just business after all.
When we returned home from the resort, something shifted between us. Our interactions became almost... pleasant?
