After their morning escapade, Jay somehow and someway manages to convince Luke to go visit Rick since they haven't seen each other in a while. Now with her all alone inside, she stands before the book with her teeth busily nibbling on her lips not particularly knowing what to do.
To everyone, herself included, the book looks as ordinary as ordinary can be. Although it's beautiful in every sense of the word, there is nothing to give someone any reason to think that it's magical.
She lifts the book with her hands trembling a little. Flips through the pages, seeing for the first time how everything she has drawn has lost its color, looking as if it has faded.
